Tracy Grammar School, I'll Lick You Yet is the second episode of Season 1 of The Bob Newhart Show. It originally aired on September 23, 1972.

It's vocation day in Emily's class and Bob feels left out when he's not invited. At the last minute, Emily asks him to fill in and her worst fears are confirmed when Bob fails to excite the kids' interest.

Bob arrives at home with Howard and Emily recruits Howard for Career Day in her class. Then Bob tries to join in, but Emily convinces him that psychology is too intellectual a subject for 8-year-old kids.

The next day at Bob's office, while Carol tries to buy a new coffee machine and Jerry jokes with Bob about not being picked for Career Day, Emily shows up and explains to Bob that someone canceled and she needs Bob to fill in. So Bob agrees.

On the morning of Career Day, after a discussion about visual aids over breakfast, they all head over to the school to give their presentations. As soon as Bob starts talking about psychology, the kids lose interest.

The following day, Bob returns to the school to try again. But when he begins, the fire drill starts. When it's all over and the kids return to their classrooms, Bob continues his presentation...this time using inkblots as visual aids to keep the kids' attention.

Bob Newhart's "one-sided phone conversation" routine is used in this episode. Bob speaks to a man named Walter.

This episode features the first appearance of the recurring character Bernie Tupperman.
